The Steering Group is a group of volunteers who manage the Network on behalf of members.
Our Chairman thoughout 2005-2009 has been NICK PHILLIPS. We are glad to say that his expertise will be available to us for a short time into 2010. Nick announced some time ago that he wished to stand down and we send him a grateful vote of thanks for all his work on behalf of us all.
We are delighted to say that NIGEL SPACKMAN, after a distinguished career with major companies including TNS, has agreed to succeed Nick and was duly elected at the AGM on December 8 2009. The Steering Group on behalf of all members give him a hearty greeting and are sure his great skills and expertise will help to guide us wisely into a new decade. He looks forward to meeting many of you at the Spring Lunch.

Our Joint Events Organiser, who works with Jane Bain, seeks out venues for and organises Network lunches is JANE GWILLIAM.Jane is Global Director with the qualitative division of TNS Research International.
Our Joint Events Organiser is JANE BAIN. Jane, together with her husband Hugh, runs her own research company. Jane works together with Jane Gwilliam in planning and organising network lunches and was the inaugurator of the Summer Party at her marvelous local Rowing Club the Auriol Kensington.
Responsible for liaison with the MRS and other research organisations is LINDA HENSHALL.Linda runs her own successful research and fieldwork company.
Editorial Adviser of the Newsletter is PHYLLIS VANGELDER.
Phyllis was an official of the MRS for many years and has edited many UK research publications and knows everyone who is anyone in our research world.
Responsible for Data Protection and other legal matters is FRANK WINTER Frank runs his own consultancy.
Editorial Adviser and the Webmaster of this Site is TOM PUNT. If you want to ask him anything about the site or let him have your latest news there is an email link after his photograph. Tom retired as a divisonal director of NOP (before it was GfkNOP) and was formerly a director of MIL Research. His main activity in the later years of his career was in social research but early in his working life he also worked in advertising (Lintas,Doyle Dane Bernbach).
