Network Summer Party

The 2025 Summer Party was held at Doggett’s Coat and Badge on 2nd July 2025, a return to one of the Network’s favourite venues. The weather was overcast at the start, but soon relented to reveal a near perfect sky and more equable temperatures which complemented the resplendent Thames as it flowed past and the reassuring presence of St Paul’s just across the stream. Doggett’s, as usual, provided an excellent buffet lunch that suited the occasion, the weather and the ambience perfectly. Attendance, at around 60, was clear evidence that the Network is still strong and the several regulars who were unable to attend due to other commitments were greatly missed.

The continuing strength of the Network was supported by Adam’s announcement in his speech that there were 6 new members present. He thanked our new Research Network Sponsor, Insight X Research Solutions, for their support. He also, rightly, thanked the staff of the Doggett’s for providing such a good lunch. and expressed gratitude one again to Jane Bain and Jane Gwilliam for their impeccable organisation.

When the clouds had rolled away and the lunch was cleared, people were able to mingle, either on the terrace or in the bar itself, with inevitable reflections on times past. However, thanks to the Network’s growing list of new and younger members, the research world of today is also well represented and older members can learn how the current market research community has built upon and augmented past efforts.

Our next Event is the Autumn Lunch, which will be at Brasserie Blanc Southbank on Tuesday 14 October. The Research Network relies on sponsorship to keep prices low.
