Autumn Lunch at Casa do Frango

Our Autumn Lunch was held on Tuesday 13 October at a new venue for the Network, Casa di Frango London Bridge, very close to Borough Market. Nearly 70 members and their guests enjoyed a sharing menu of excellent Portuguese food. Adam Phillips introduced proceedings by welcoming seven new members and five guests, and thanking the Champions: Maria Butylina, Kathryn Coles, Silvia Durresperger, Rumi Kamatew, Jonathan Mulligan, David Sutterby and Julie Tebeka, and our Membership Secretary Diego Correa.

After the meal guest speaker, Dave Hannay, talked about the new MRBA mental health support bursary, ‘inmind’. Adam closed the speeches with updates on forthcoming events and thanked the staff of Casa do Frango for providing an excellent lunch, and Jane Bain and Gill Wareing for their organisation.

The festivities continued into the late afternoon in the restaurant and then later in the Southwark Tavern. A great time was had by all, as can be seen in the pictures, which can now be viewed in the Gallery section here.
