In a brief news item last September (Concern over US census changes), we cited a Research Live article noting concerns that changes to US federal funding legislation could dramatically reduce response rates on Census Bureau surveys
A fresh Research Live article now reports that the US Senate has accepted recommendations from various interested parties, including the Insights Association. This should ensure adequate funding for the Census Bureau in the run-up to the 2030 census, in the event that Congress fails to pass a final appropriations bill to continue financing government departments.
